Transcription of audio and video into faithful text
Interviews, hearings, meetings, lectures and research recordings turned into text, with timestamps and speaker identification whenever you need them.
- Timestamps and speaker identification
- Any audio or video format
- Confidentiality guaranteed by contract
What transcription is
Transcription turns a recording into text. It sounds simple until you have to do it: real speech overlaps, trails off, corrects itself and happens against background noise. A useful transcript is one that a reader can follow without having the audio open beside it.
Eko’s produces transcripts in the form the purpose requires. A verbatim transcript keeps hesitations, repetitions and false starts, which matters in legal and research contexts. A clean transcript removes them, which is what you want for a report or an article. Tell us the use and we will apply the right one.
Transcription is not subtitling. A transcript records everything that was said, in running text. A subtitle has to fit on screen and within the time a viewer can read it, so the text is condensed and cut into timed blocks. A transcript used as subtitles is unreadable.
Where the recording is in one language and you need the text in another, transcription and translation are done together, which is cheaper and faster than commissioning them separately.

What transcription costs
Transcription is priced by the duration of the recording, adjusted for audio quality and the number of speakers. Ten minutes of a clear one-to-one interview and ten minutes of a noisy six-person meeting are very different jobs, and the quote reflects that.
Timestamps, speaker identification and verbatim style are options you choose when you order. They change the effort and are priced upfront, never added at the end.
When you also need the text in another language, ordering transcription and translation together costs less than commissioning them separately, because the file is handled once.
Credibility built over 24 years
Specialists in each field
Every project goes to translators with proven experience in your sector, with a dedicated glossary and consistency across your documents.
Quality control at every stage
No file leaves without a check of terminology, cohesion and fidelity to the source. Quality is part of the service, not an extra.
Confidentiality guaranteed by contract
A confidentiality agreement with the whole team, and a specific NDA when your company requires one, signed before the quote.

Electronic editing included when needed: tables, charts, images and formatting preserved in the final file.
We handle real urgency
Express delivery with a dedicated team for short deadlines, without dropping the quality process.
A quote within 1 business hour
A closed price and a defined deadline before we start, with no surprise costs at the end.

Eko’s has been a partner for many years. Always attentive and willing to meet tight deadlines without losing the excellent quality. Having Eko’s makes a real difference in our work.
Eko’s always meets our demand and hits the deadline. They have never turned down an urgent request. They deliver quality work and are one of the very few companies qualified to work with us.
I want to congratulate Eko’s for all these years of partnership, serving us with excellence and with highly qualified, efficient professionals.
From the first contact I was well looked after, transparency at every stage and not a single problem with them, a fair price for all the work done. I do not live in Brazil and they handled every step to send my daughter’s certificate, already apostilled, here to the US.
Faster and better value than anyone else. Excellent work, service worth a ten out of ten.
I did not know them, but I decided to take a chance and have some documents translated with Eko’s. They were fast, attentive and the price was fair too. I am pleased with the service and I recommend them.
Transcription
Is a transcript the same as subtitles?
No. A transcript records everything that was said, as running text. Subtitles have to fit on screen and within the time a viewer can read them, so the text is condensed and cut into timed blocks. A transcript used as subtitles is unreadable.
Do you offer verbatim and clean transcripts?
Both. A verbatim transcript keeps hesitations, repetitions and false starts, which matters in legal and research work. A clean transcript removes them, which is what a report or an article needs. Tell us the purpose and we apply the right one.
Can you identify who is speaking?
Yes. Speaker identification and timestamps are options you choose when ordering. If you can send a list of participants, the transcript uses their names rather than generic labels.
What if the audio quality is poor?
We work with what is there and mark anything genuinely inaudible rather than guessing. Poor audio takes longer, and that is reflected in the quote before you approve it, not afterwards.
Can you transcribe in one language and deliver in another?
Yes, and ordering both together costs less than commissioning them separately, because the recording is handled once.
How is the price calculated?
By the duration of the recording, adjusted for audio quality and the number of speakers. Options such as timestamps and verbatim style are priced upfront.
Send your document and get a closed price
A legible photo or a PDF is enough for a quote. You get the price, the deadline and guidance on apostilling within 1 business hour.
